FIX & GROW THE SITE

Start where the money is.

A store can have thousands of near-duplicate product and filter pages and a handful that pay the bills. We rank the work by revenue, fix your category pages first and bring faceted navigation under control.

Categories first, products next

PRIORITY

Categories get paid first. Products follow.

Categories sized by revenue weight The largest block is worked first, then the next blocks down. Illustrative. Running shoes Worked first Rain jackets Socks Other Block size = revenue weight (illustrative)

We ask which categories bring the most revenue and margin, then fix those pages before touching the long tail. That's different from fixing 5,000 product pages in alphabetical order.

Filters and sorting create thousands of duplicate URLs.

Category pages are a grid of products with no words.

Product pages copy the manufacturer's description, like every competitor.

Reports show traffic, not revenue.

INCLUDED

Four layers of a store.

Category pages

  • Titles, headings and short buying guides for priority categories
  • Internal links from related categories and products
  • A plan for which categories to expand or merge

Product pages

  • Templates for titles and descriptions, so every product isn't written by hand
  • Priority products rewritten by hand
  • Reviews and product schema checked

Faceted navigation

  • A rule set for which filters Google may crawl and index
  • Fixes for duplicate and near-empty URLs
  • Pagination and canonical checks

Feeds & schema

  • Product schema checks and fixes
  • Merchant Center feed checks (where you use one)
  • Out-of-stock and discontinued product handling

We work with Shopify, WooCommerce and custom builds.

HOW IT WORKS

Work in order of revenue.

  1. Rank categories by revenue and margin

You share sales data by category. We build the priority list.

  2. Fix the biggest category first

Page, links, content and technical issues at once.

  3. Control the facets

Decide which filtered pages deserve a place in Google and block the rest.

  4. Work down the list each month

Each month's report shows which categories we touched and what happened.

OUTCOMES

What to expect from a store.

We don't guarantee rankings. Here's what we do commit to.

What you get

  • Category and product pages that match buying searches
  • Faceted navigation under control
  • Reporting by category, with revenue where your platform provides it
  • A priority list you can see and change

TIMELINE

Category changes usually take 6 to 12 weeks to show. Big catalogues take longer because Google needs to recrawl them. We don't promise a revenue figure, because demand, price and stock also decide sales.

FAQ

Ecommerce SEO questions

Do you need access to my store?

We need read access to your analytics and Search Console. For technical changes we work with whoever edits your store, or with your developer.

Can you fix product descriptions across thousands of products?

We write the templates and rewrite the priority products by hand. Fully rewriting every product isn't a good use of your budget.

Do you handle Google Shopping or ads?

No. This is organic search. We check your Merchant Center feed for errors but don't manage ad spend.

How do you report on revenue?

We connect your store's sales data to Analytics where the platform allows and report by category. Where it can't, we say so.

I only have 40 products. Which plan?

The Store plan, or the audit first. A small catalogue often doesn't need a monthly retainer yet.
